My name is Angela Nzisa.Well, now that you know my names and you are thinking of using them, kindly don’t call me otherwise under any circumstances just call me Angie,Angel, Nzisa or Arvin.Born to a Kenyan mum (Kamba/Maasai)and a Sudanese dad...what a lovely combination!
I don’t exactly like talking about myself because i'm a very complicated person. So I will just give highlights and maybe one day I will decide to sit down and narrate my whole story.
I was a simple girl who has grown into a fine lady. My life has had up and downs since the day I set my feet on this world, but again what is life without challenges. Tears are there, will always be there so trust me when I say life without challenges is an empty boring life.
I attended primary school at St. Mary's ,Hekima School and B.B. Academy respectively ,Went to Nembu Girl's High School. It was after clearing my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education that I immersed myself in the industries I am today. Early 2010 I joined Geremia Academy where I got my basic skills in Information Communications Technology.
It was after graduating from the institute that I started acting. I was a green actress back then. But with time I managed to jump that huddle and right now I can say am somewhere. Acting and modelling started nearly at the same time just that modeling is an art I took longer to grasp due to lack of exposure, mentors etc. Eventually I learnt it anyway and today am #AngieTheModel. All this transitions were not as easy as they sound just that am trying to cut the long story short.
Ooh Yes! I almost forgot. Am an introvert. I don’t know how to make friends but trust me I value the few friends I have. I tend to be very quiet in crowds. Not because am shy but because I think crowds drain me. Like they steal my words (I can’t find better words to explain this) . But if around a few people or just one person then I can be a very good conservationist. Conversations on the topics I enjoy of course. I don’t do small talk. I don’t know how to.
Short story shorter, I joined campus in 2012(St.Paul's) to pursue Bachelor of arts in Communication,only to drop off along the way and went to work in Coast....I got back to Nairobi in 2013 and joined Moi University to pursue Journalism and Mass Media,took a break in 2015 to study Film production @ film Academy and now I'm back to finish what i started now taking Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences (Media and Publishing option)
For summary purposes, as I write this article, am a student, model, actor, filmmaker,mom(you read that right) blogger,administrator,casting agent and an event manager. Well, don’t judge me, I'm just a lady searching for a way to survive.
